 How Botox works . . .
Facial expressions occur as a result of muscle activity in the face. Habitual movement in areas will cause the skin overlying the muscle to crease.

Botox is used to block impulses from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles that are related to expression lines.

This relaxes the muscles and weakens the contractions, leaving the overlying skin smooth and unwrinkled.
